What can you do to avoid overwhelm as a coach -
A lot of coaches I've talked to are overwhelmed by the amount of work they must accomplish.
It's difficult to know who their dream customer is.
They have too many offers.
They try too many different things to get noticed and be noticed.
It's difficult for them to figure out how to get people to sign up for their services.
There are too many applications that rely on the use of elastic bands or zaps.
They are putting too much energy in their clients and eventually burn out even though they love the coach.
Are any of these topics relevant to you?
HTML0The following are the three different types of overwhelm that I routinely see coaches struggling with:
Strategy overwhelm
Astonished Client
Systems that overpower
Let's take a look in every one of them.
Strategy overwhelm
In terms of tactics, most coaches offer a variety of opportunities. They're trying too many different things to attempt to get the attention of leads and gain their interest However, most of the time, they're not able to make a decision on which type of customer to target.
There's also a lack of understanding of the way they'd like to create sales that attract people to their program.
At first, you'll try out. That's okay.
You're hoping to master all of the Five Ones.
Five Ones: The Five Ones suggest that if you have your eyes upon...
One avatar
One of the main sources of traffic
One offer
One enrollment mechanism
For one year
You can hit a million dollars of revenue.
If you're not at the million dollar mark, and have reached your million dollar mark, do not even consider an additional avatar, another advertiser, another traffic source, or even a different enrollment method.
Coaches aren't earning enough to cover the salaries they'd like to believe that they must extend their services, adding with more offerings, avatars, or more sources for visitors ... every thing to increase their service to attract more clients.
It's the opposite situation.
It is important to narrow it down. You must be specific. Choose.
The issue is not in choosing the best option.
It is crucial to take the right choice, then making it right.
There's a way to make one of these function.
Choose one and stay with until you've hit the million dollar mark.
I'm aware of the difficulty this can be.
With the right instructions and guidance, you will be able to help them succeed.
If anyone else has been successfully in this manner then that it's a possibility.
Then, it's just finding the right information.
Clients Overwhelmed
While our coaches are passionate about coaching and are devoted to our clients, at times it's somewhat stressful.
If you're doing a lot of 1:1 work with clients, it's easy to exhaust yourself.
Then you find yourself repeating the exact thing on a regular basis.
The feeling that you experience when there's something absolutely brilliant coming out of your mind during the session you have with your client, but you don't know the source of it. It's fantastic!
You're disappointed that no one other than you will get to hear your captivating account since it's being shared in a one-on-one meeting!
A few coaches do not simply perform their work in a 1:1 manner and they're doing it for the people they coach. It's a done-for-you model.
Yes, you are able to boost your fee in order to pay more for coaching and have less clients.
However, it's not scalable.
The most efficient method for scaling is to conduct group coaching.
Create a group plan where you can communicate with your customers simultaneously.
Templates, frameworks and live group coaching and even an online community.
They don't just gain but they also benefit from each other.
As the amount of customers you serve increases as do the worth of your program.
If you're not already conducting group coaching, or if group coaching isn't your primary focus for your organization, this should be the first thing you consider and should be the "One Option" within your Five Ones.
Systems overwhelm
Nowadays, it's common to have at least five to seven, nine, or additional tools for managing your coaching business.
Webhosting as Wordpress or Wix
Marketing software for email or ESP (Email Service Provider) such as MailChimp or ConvertKit
Carts for online shopping like Shopify or Samcart
Platform to teach courses or LMS for example Teachable or Kajabi
Video hosting like Vimeo or Wistia
Funnel software is also known as a page designer like LeadPages or ClickFunnels
Community software like Circle or MightyNetworks
Scheduler similar to Calendly or SavvyCal
Survey tool like TypeForm or SurveyMonkey
Tool for tracking affiliates similar to Post or Tapfiliate, Affiliate Pro
Pipeline for Sales similar to Pipedrive and Close.com
CRM is similar to Hubspot or Ontraport
Zapier to connect them all!
There's some overlap on this list, since the tools listed have more than one function.
Some are used frequently but I did not list them.
The list can get rather lengthy quite quickly.
It's not just adding up to a substantial cost per month.
Additionally, it adds lots of mental bandwidth for you.
There's first the issue of fatigue of having to choose from all these possibilities.
Each category is represented there are a variety of options, each offering benefits and drawbacks. Additionally, certain of them are applicable to different categories.
It is important to assess them in all of them, before deciding the best one to use and then decide how they will integrate to the stacks of other stacks that you've got.
The next step is Integration.
Can they communicate in a native way, or are you required to utilize Zapier to "zap" them?
It's another issue and connectivity is weak.
They'll break, particularly when you're on holiday, and it's left your (or your employees if they have one, and if they're capable of figuring it out) to repair the issue.
And then there's the psychological of having to switch between programs, each of which is performing things in a different way.
It causes lots of contextual switching, where you must change your mode of work every couple of minutes.
When you upload your image on more than 4 different sites you might want to find the most effective solution.
With NO zaps.
The glue doesn't exist.
There are no rubber bands.
All your business operations in one place.
It's like finding your place of residence along the border.
And all the parts talk easily with one another.
Clients only need to enter their details once and you are able to store the information in your database.
Join them by submitting their request form so that they can schedule an appointment to talk about strategies.
Easy. Clean. Simple.
