Following a recommendation by a colleague, I visited the location , and 6 years later--never had a second thought. When I'm not helping clients or serving food, I'm seeking out the latest secret or planning my next adventure with my loved ones--and an espresso to one side and food on the other.

What's your day-to-day task at the company that which you are employed by?

Everyday is an exciting, new adventure! I am able to assist our members around the globe as well as assist them with the problems they face. When it's about educating them on the benefits of our membership or figuring out the many facets of a issue, I'm grateful to be able to help them out.

A customer of ours wanted to provide a promotion to members that does come out of the box. Instead of saying "no," (we do every effort not to) I came up with a clever solution making use of our API.

The custom solution met the demands of their customers and was flawless! We were all thrilled with the result, turning this challenge into a chance.

What do you think does you need to do to create the most of a membership-based business?

I believe keeping your customers interested is essential to creating the most successful subscription service. If the creators are truly engaged with their clients and members, it's not the simple transaction of funds. It's about creating a place that makes members feel part of some sort of community.

What have you learnt in your studies?

Communication is essential in customer service whether it is face-to-face or via the internet. While online support may appear easier, picking the wrong tone or unclear wording can quickly cause customer frustration.

This is the reason the PREACH communication model (Proud Trustworthy, Honest, Empathic clear, articulate, concise Human) is vital when working with each customer.

I am truly grateful to work with my team of support since everyone is a model of their character when they interact with their customers. My biggest takeaway? Effective communication is a talent that you can develop over patience and willingness to take lessons from your mistakes.

What are three suggestions you'd suggest someone within your department or from your field?

Three suggestions for satisfaction with customer support:

  1. If you're unsure, ask more questions to better understand your customer's wants and needs, as well as get to the source of the problem.
  2. It is important to keep in touch regularly if you haven't heard from us. Customers appreciate your effort to be consistent as everybody is working.
  3. Keep your promises. Keeping the promises you gave to your customers will increase trust and provides longevity of satisfaction. It was said you'd call them on a certain date, so do not forget!
