Riso Chan's journey to embrace her sensitive true self through her artwork:

My work is emotional. My art is built on portraits that portray the things that I'm experiencing. I've always been a sensitive and sensitive person. When I was a kid there was something that caused me to feel uneasy and I tried to take it out of my body. (...) As you grow older, you realize that actually you're not alone and that everyone experiences differently. I decided to channel the emotions that I bring to my everyday life to draw. Drawing on it helps inspire my mind and ignite the imagination of my friends. That is amazing because the issue I'd been trying to get rid of all day and then, suddenly I put it down on piece of paper and seemed as a huge sense of satisfaction. There is finally an opportunity to utilize this feeling and be able to make use of my emotions, delights, hurts, as well as pains to place them on paper. This was a truly amazing experience and led me to a point where I was filled with gratitude. It began to resonate with other people too. I began to open up and putting things on paper I had never considered prior to. Instead of trying to look like the other artists who had "made art" I was really paying attention to the message I was trying to convey and what I would like to convey in my own life. I took on something I was not happy with about myself , and then discovered that this was the real me. ability. I'm very happy to be who I am, my true, sensitive self.
