When Jeremy Cohen was 15 and a half, he took a family vacation to Yellowstone National Park unexpectedly sparked his passion for photography.

"My father brought me a tiny digital point-and-shoot camera," Jeremy shared with . "My sister started to take pictures with it and I thought they looked really cool, so I wanted to give it a go. I took a bunch of photos from nature, and it inspired me to enroll in the film photography class in my high school for an elective after I arrived back home."

The initial desire to document the world around him was the foundation for his journey to becoming a professional photographer. Through to his Quarantine Roof Culture series to his daily Today I Photographed portrait project, Jeremy went on to utilize his camera in order to "uplift and amplify untold depictions of the human condition." People noticed: Jeremy has built an following of more than a million on social media, and has even been able to build a successful freelance career.

Pivoting to freelance with an online site

The strategy was successful: "I started to get hired for some small gigs as I eventually, I was able until I could eventually work full-time as a photographer freelance."

"I have multiple uses for my website on ," Jeremy says. "It's my primary portfolio that allows viewers to view the very top of my work, no matter if they're personal or client work, or miscellaneous images."

Building a website also helps to build the trust of freelancers. "In my opinion," Jeremy says, "a solid website is imperative to any photographer who wants customers to believe in them."
