To complete the task, your sales team must move self-service sales to your CRM system so that they are able to track what customers are buying for their upgrading and upsell strategies to customers that self-serve.

In our next installment of this series, we'll feature a build by Fred Linfjard that shows how to integrate self-serve transaction on your website with Salesforce in just a few minutes. The build also provides an example of how Zapier is able to collect data using webhooks. You can then pass information on to another service Zapier could connect to.

The next part of build Fred demonstrates how you can utilize Zapier's triggers to identify webhooks, and generate records within Salesforce. Making records in salesforce using webhooks allows teams to assign sign-ups or self-service transactions to opportunities. This gives teams one record for all transactions within their company. they can use the records to help advertise products, upsells and add-ons as in assisting clients with upgrades.
