Fantasy illustration - The CreativeMindClass Blog

What would you say about your style?

It's somewhere between stylized and well as real-life fantasy illustrations. I prefer to draw with shades that are soft and watery and generally work with natural, fluid forms. I believe that my "style" as a fantasy illustrator is heavily dependent on the colors I use and what subject matter I choose to draw , however it's not the way the drawing is done. I previously worked using a much more straight-line approach, but now I'm using an looser, more creative style.

How do you create your artworks of fantasy?

Sweating over them until it is closest to how I envision it in my mind (within the context of I'm not looking to invest hours on one painting). I try really hard to push my drawings complicated to the point that I don't settle for a subpar artwork. I'd rather take lots of time to make the perfect dreamy image rather than rush through it.

Which are the ideal spots to display your imagination?

I'm part of the forthcoming "Oceans and Currents" exhibit at Gallery Nucleus during July! For now, you can find me on my Instagram account. I do sell prints through my online store Bandcamp if anyone is interested!

Additionally, I've got an account on YouTube channel as well as Bandcamp for those interested in my music since I'll release more tracks soon.

The Background of Brigitte

I received my degree in The Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, and I currently work in the industry of entertainment arts as conceptual artist as well as an illustrator. Also, I have a ongoing creative project called Pearl Farm that I am the illustrator for. I sketch drawings. I write, as well performing original music.

Illustrations for the article are taken drawn from my own work, Pearl Farm. This is my story that I wrote, it follows the journey of a musician named Vinny along with her pet ray Hubble when they navigate their way through a vast globe called The Lofty Coastline.
