When faced with challenges, Danica has a drive to Act in a hurry, taking responsibility and identifying solutions to help ensure the success of the projects she is involved in. Our Vice President for People & Culture, Louise Cherry Barber was able to sit at a table (virtually) to speak with Danica regarding her award and experience in the office .
Danica's commitment to her job and dedication to the company's principles have helped make her an invaluable asset to our staff. Her positive attitude, willingness to help with problems and her ability to solve them are a major contribution to life of colleagues and the overall success of .

Louise Cherry Barber: Danica I am pleased to announce that you have been selected as the Springie Award Winner for our 3rd quarter of 2023! So please tell me what it means for you to win the Springie Award here at ?
Danica Larsen:It it was truly nice be genuinely warm to realize that I tried to put a lot of myself -- my fascinating personality -- in my daily work. And it was nice to know that others knew about it and that it was welcomed and acknowledged positively and not just not only due to achieving a certain number, which is previously what I would have recognized and other workplaces that I've been to, but for the kind of person I am as well as the achievements that I've done beyond a single number. It was a pleasure to be recognized as an individual. I found that really heartwarming.
Louise Cherry Barber: This is awesome and definitely merited. One thing that I'm curious about, I'd love to hear from you about some of the highlights, you know, from when you first heard about it, and particularly working on the project you completed on the benchmarking program was praised by a few people. Can you tell us something about this?
Danica LarsenYes it's true that I've put on a lot of work, like I'm so excited to have it recognized. I think I was somewhat surprised to see the benchmarking initiative was one of the things that was called out in the sense that we're in the early stages, you know; there's still a lot of work to be done. It's great to see that everybody's thrilled about the initiative. Because it's going to provide many benefits, I really hope it's going to provide so many benefits, not only to us as a corporation however, for our clients, sellers, as well. And we'll help in an ideal world give an insight into the ways we can expand over time, what we're seeing works well for us as a way to make it a hit. This was a great thing to see early in the beginning of, you know, like beta stages was really amazing, as it means that others are seeing the benefits also.
Louise Cherry Barber: Recently, we updated our values for the company to Make a Difference Learn to understand and Act with Urgency. I'm curious about what you think about the new values.
Danica Larsen: What they encompass is doing the right thing knowing what"right" means. So actually investigating, digging deep into it, and then deciding quickly and making a decision. And I genuinely can stand to this every single day... And when I look around at the others, members of the Support Team and the Support Team is a sign that they share the same values with our customers, as well as with our buyers each day. They're in the front in the lead, on the front line looking for understanding and executing quickly, because that's the only way to accomplish these things. As business, no one will be able to continue working with us.
Louise Cherry Barber:What tips can you offer to people who are in the same situation ? Do you think anyone would want to follow these values? What suggestions do you have for making those come to life?
Danica Larsen I can only speak from my perspective. I speak only from my perspective. However, I believe the most important aspect is to pay attention as long as you can. When you're working with the different accounts, the businesses and sellers, everyone that we're working with, understanding their needs, and understanding the motive behind the need it drives what we should perform and how we must behave. And that's the "seeking understanding" that accomplish it without paying attention. This is my first tip Listen to the people around you.
